This site uses cookies

In compliance with Spanish Law 34/2002 of 11 July on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSICE), we inform you that this website, DCPReady.com, uses cookies.

LSSICE applies to any type of file or device that is downloaded to a user’s terminal equipment for the purpose of storing data that may be updated and retrieved by the entity responsible for its installation. One of these widely used files is known as a cookie; we will refer to them generically as cookies.

Cookies are small text files sent to a browser by a web server in order to record the user’s activity on a website so that this information can later be retrieved while browsing the different pages connected to the server that installed them.

Cookies usually store technical information, personal preferences, content customisation, usage statistics, links to social networks, access to user accounts, and so on.

Types of cookies

Below is a classification of cookies based on a number of categories. Please note that a single cookie may fall into more than one category.

According to the entity that manages them

First-party cookies:
These are sent to the user’s terminal equipment from a computer or domain managed by the website editor itself and from which the service requested by the user is provided.

Third-party cookies:
These are sent to the user’s terminal equipment from a computer or domain that is not managed by the editor, but by another entity that processes the data obtained through the cookies.

Where cookies are installed from a computer or domain managed by the editor itself, but the information collected through them is managed by a third party, they are not considered first-party cookies.

According to the length of time they remain active

Depending on how long they remain active on the user’s device, cookies can be:

Session cookies:
These are designed to collect and store data while the user accesses a website. They are typically used to store information that only needs to be kept for the provision of the service requested by the user on a single occasion (for example, a list of products purchased).

Persistent cookies:
These are cookies in which the data remain stored on the device and can be accessed and processed for a period defined by the controller of the cookie, which can range from a few minutes to several years.

According to their purpose

Depending on the purpose for which the data obtained through cookies are processed, we can distinguish between:

Technical cookies:
These allow the user to navigate through a website, platform or application and to use the different options or services available, such as controlling traffic and data communication, identifying the session, accessing restricted areas, remembering the items in an order, carrying out the purchase process, making a registration or participation request for an event, using security features while browsing, storing content for the broadcasting of videos or sound, or sharing content via social networks.

Personalisation cookies:
These allow the user to access the service with certain general predefined characteristics based on a series of criteria on the user’s device, such as language, the type of browser through which the service is accessed, or the regional configuration from which the service is accessed.

Analytics cookies:
These allow the party responsible for them to monitor and analyse the behaviour of users of the websites to which they are linked. The information collected by this type of cookie is used to measure the activity of websites, applications or platforms and to create browsing profiles of users of those sites, applications and platforms, in order to introduce improvements based on the analysis of usage data.

Advertising cookies:
These allow the most efficient possible management of advertising spaces that, where appropriate, the editor has included on a website, application or platform from which the requested service is provided, based on criteria such as the edited content or the frequency with which the ads are shown.

Behavioural advertising cookies:
These allow the most efficient possible management of the advertising spaces that, where appropriate, the editor has included on a website, application or platform from which the requested service is provided. These cookies store information on users’ behaviour obtained through continuous observation of their browsing habits, which makes it possible to develop a specific profile to display advertising based on that profile.
