Our story begins in 1955, with a cinema by the sea.
Our family’s connection to cinema started over seven decades ago, when we opened our first theater on Spain’s Mediterranean coast. Since then, we’ve managed multiple indoor cinemas, open-air venues, and even a drive-in — always focused on authentic, high-quality screenings.
From the beginning, our mission has been clear: to deliver authentic, high-quality cinema experiences.
A new chapter: Digital projection and technical mastery.
In 2008, we fully digitized Cine Jayan — our current family-run cinema — gaining hands-on experience with the Digital Cinema Package (DCP) format. This first-hand understanding of projection standards and compatibility challenges led us to create DCPReady: a specialized lab born from the perspective of exhibitors.

Bridging art and exhibition: the Marere Film Festival.
We are the founders and organizers of the Marere Film Festival, a European-focused event hosted at our own theater.
It celebrates auteur cinema and supports emerging filmmakers. This direct contact with film professionals deepens our understanding of current screening standards — and renews our commitment to quality in every DCP we deliver.
Our first edition in 2025 received more than 200 feture films projects. For our second edition in 2026 we received almost 1000 movies including features and short films
